Latin Equip Vision 27

Since Marco and Cris began participating in Latin Equip Pastoral Roundtables in 2021, their church has grown with new campuses and new believers! Latin Equip Partners has been there every step of the way, sending Steve and Shelly Hopkins to provide mentoring sessions, help, and guidance. Their church is on fire! They are seeing God provide in miraculous ways for their congregation. As they make decisions to grow the Kingdom, Latin Equip partners will come alongside them and hundreds of other pastors in Latin America!

This is just one example of what Latin Equip is doing through the Pastoral Roundtable Ministry. In 2027, we will hold 15 Roundtable events in 9 cities in Peru, 2 cities in Colombia, and with pastors from 4 cities in Venezuela.

Each Roundtable is an all-day event held at a nice hotel, including lunch, with 24-32 young pastors participating. An invited American pastor provides challenging training on a relevant topic for young pastors, and the group shares their takeaways. After lunch, Latin Equip Directors Steve and Shelly Hopkins ask each member to identify the greatest challenge they are currently facing, and as we work through these, other group members are invited to tell about their experience with the challenge and even provide possible solutions.

Some fantastic results come from these Roundtables, including:

• churches working together on city-wide crusades that result in hundreds of decisions for Christ
• pastors who thought they were alone have new support systems and have formed life-long friendships
• pastors have experienced - and we have seen- great spiritual growth, resulting in a healthier and more relevant church
